Review:
As soon as this product was released I just had to pick it up, I have been a big fan of cushion foundations this year because with the cushion your makeup goes on more natural and it also gives me that dewy look that I really like. I am a NW45 so I got this foundation in shade 8.5 which matches my skin tone perfect. I wore this to work the first day and really put it to the test during my five hour shift. So let me start by saying this foundation looks really nice and natural on my skin almost looking like I am not wearing makeup. This is a hydrating foundation that works well with my dry skin, a little goes a long way (you don't need much to cover your whole face) and it last hours without touch ups.

You can apply different ways sponge or brush, I personally like to use a face mist like MAC Fix+ or Bobbi Brown Face Mist and my Real Techniquse Miracle Complexion Sponge.

Foods That Can Help Prevent Alzheimer's Disease

Healthy Living:
Foods That Can Help Prevent Alzheimer's Disease
I finally got a chance to see the film Still Alice a story about a college professor played by actress Julianne Moore who at the early age of 50 was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease which causes severe memory loss. The film tells the story of a women's struggles to stay connected to who she was before she loses all her memory. Alice puts up a fight during each stage of the disease that she can no longer win. This story touched my heart and also made me afraid of the reality and seriousness of this disease. I learned that Alzheimer's Disease not only effects the person who is diagnosed with it, But it also effects your family and loved ones.
It took me some time to write this blog post because it was very important for me to do my research. I am a huge believer that eating the right foods can naturally prevent and heal sickness. I have honestly had conversations with people who had health problems for example: high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity to name a few. Something so little like changing their lifestyle and the way they ate, juicing, exercise helped reduce the health problems they had.

Here is a list of important foods that can help prevent and slow down the process of Alzheimer's Disease by protecting cells in the brain from becoming damaged.

Greens & Vegetables: are loaded with rich antioxidants, vitamins, iron and folate that help reduce the risk of Alzheimer's, obesity, high blood pressure, heart disease and more. Kale, spinach, broccoli, mustard greens, collard greens, asparagus, tomato, carrots, beets, squash and pumpkin to name a few.
Nuts: walnuts, almonds, pecans and peanuts contain healthy fats, fiber, nd antioxidants, lowers cholesterol, reduce heart disease and lowers risk of Alzheimer's.
Berries: are load with antioxidants that help stop inflammation and keep the brain healthy. Blueberries: known as a superfood protects the brain and enhance your memory
Beans: high in fiber and protein sharpens the brain
Fish: is food for the brain high in Omega 3 Fatty Acids. Eating more fish can lead to larger brain volume and lower blood levels of beta-amyloid a protein that plays a major role in Alzheimer's. Salmon is an amazing fish with many help benefits.
Olive Oil: Polyphenols are potent antioxidants found in extra virgin olive oil that fight stress and helps to reduce the risk of cancer, high blood pressure, cholesterol, heart disease and Alzheimer's Disease.
Red Wine: is good for the heart and reduces the risk of Alzheimer's Disease.
Green Tea: loaded with antioxidants that protect brain cells and can help prevent the formation of amyloid plaques, and breaks down existing plaques.
Dark Chocolate: contains a chemical that can slow down the progression of the disease
Spices: Cinnamon, Turmeric and Sage are high in antioxidants and gets rid of amino acids that form the plaque in the brain that associated with Alzheimer's
Tip:
Try to cut down on Bread white and wheat, rice, sugars, pasta, meats and processed foods these increase risk of Alzheimer's Disease

Thank you for reading this post, This is a very important problem and in American alone there are over 5 million people who are diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease. Changing your diet can benefit your health in so many ways. So start now before it's too late.........

Keep Your Skin Radiant and Healthy in Just 4 Easy Steps

Healthy Living:
Keep Your Skin Radiant and Healthy in Just 4 Easy Steps
Makeup can make your skin look flawless and that's nice and all, But if you really want your makeup to look flawless It starts with your skin. Keeping your body healthy is the key to radiant skin. It's not just about your skincare routine, It also has to do with how you treat your body from the inside and out. Here are 4 easy steps to keep your skin more radiant and healthy leaving you with a natural glow that will have everyone wanting to know your skincare secrets.
Step 1: Drink Lots of Water- One of the best steps to getting healthy skin is water, Water naturally hydrates the skin and removes toxins from the body giving your skin a natural healthy glow. Water also helps reduce signs of aging and improves your skins complexion.
Step 2: Eating Healthy & Detox-What you put in your body has a big effect on your skin. If you choose to eat fatty, greasy and junk foods it will result into patchy skin and breakouts. When you eat clean and healthy foods the results can be amazing leaving you with healthier skin. When you detox you are naturally getting rid of nasty toxins in the body. Water with lemon is high in vitamin C which helps boost your energy, improves your digestive system and rejuvenates the skin. Juicing and smoothies are made with fruits, vegetables and other ingredients rich in vitamins, nutrients and antioxidants improving your skin and health. Exercise also slows down signs of aging.

Step 3: Get Plenty of Sleep and Relax- Getting  at least 7 to 8 hours of sleep can improve your skin 100%, Leaving you to wake up with a more radiant complexion. Have you ever notice that when you don't get enough rest your skin tends to look tired and dull. When you don't get enough rest it can become a form of stress on the skin and body. Stay away from stress, get rest and relax from time to time this will result in leaving your skin looking healthier, younger and more radiant. Think of sleep as a beauty boost for your skin.
Step 4: Never Sleep in Your Makeup- It is so important to not sleep in your makeup this can cause bacteria to build up in the skin which can lead to breakouts and blemishes. If you are tired at nights and think you could easily end up sleeping in your makeup invested in makeup wipes. Makeup wipes are a quick and easy way to remove all your makeup from the skin.
Ways to help your skin when wearing makeup:
Keep it light use a tinted moisturizer, BB cream or a sheer to medium coverage foundation so your skin can still breath
Use a face mist to refresh your skin when wearing makeup, This contains ingredients that are rich in vitamins and antioxidants to help rejuvenate the skin
Wash your makeup brushes and sponges at least every two weeks
Check to see when your makeup expires and get rid of it when it does
Wearing a primer keeps a barrier between your skin and makeup, Primers also leave the skin more smooth and won't clog pores

Kiss True Volume Lashes

Lashes:
Kiss True Volume Lashes
Recently I have enjoyed wearing false lashes as long as they look natural. I finally got a chance to try some lashes from the Kiss True Volume Collection, posh lashes and Chic lashes. I am truly impressed with these lashes, The Kiss True Volume Lashes are special because they are made with 100% natural hair and the natural plump resembles natural eyelash with tapered ends. Retail Price: $3.99
Wearing lashes are a new thing for me, The real reason why I would never wear false lashes was because I hated when women would wear those super dramatic lashes that look really fake. What I came to realize is that there are lashes that give you that volume you want and look natural at the same time. I have used the Ardell natural lashes and I really like them, But I honestly love the Kiss True Volume Lashes they look so natural and beautiful and give me the fullness that I want. I even put a pair to the test by wearing them all day and sleeping in them just to see if they would come off and they stayed on and I wore them for a few more hours the next day. If your careful with them you can at least get one reuse out of them but, I would make sure to wash them and I also really like the Kiss Strip Eyelash Adhesive it holds well and is formulated with Aloe. Ya!! these are my favorite lashes so far.
You can purchase at: www.walgreens.com , www.cvs.com , www.kamart.com  & www.walmart.com
Reused I cleaned them and brushed them back in the original shape
