What you put in your body is just as important to what you put on your skin and hair. Eating a balanced diet and healthy foods is a plus and a lot of foods are rich in vitamins and antioxidants. Here is a list of a few foods and liquids that are great for the skin and hair and why.
Salmon: is a great way to maintain healthy skin it is high in nutrients and omega 3 fatty acids. Omega 3 helps keep the skin supple and youthful by improving the skin's texture and adds moisture to dry scalp. Salmon is also rich in proteins, minerals and vitamin B12.
Spinach: is rich in nutrients and antioxidants that protect the skin. Spinach is also high in vitamins A, B, C, E, K, protein and omega 3. It is known to help with hair growth.   
Almonds: are high in nutrients, omega 3 fatty acids, protein and is rich in vitamin E that is great for both skin and hair. Eating almonds improve your skin's complexion and almond oil makes your skin softer and smooth. It also improves the hair's texture and promotes healthy hair growth.
Eggs: are rich in protein, minerals, and vitamins B7, B5, B6, B12, and vitamin A. Egg yolk is rich in biotin which benefits the skin, hair, and nails. Eating eggs promote faster hair growth, strengthens and adds shine.
Acai Berry Juice: is a Brazilian fruit loaded with strong antioxidants, vitamins, protein, calcium and omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids. Acai juice rejuvenates and replenishes the skin to help keep a fresh youthful glow. It is also known to detoxify the body and adds a healthy shine and growth to the hair. 
Pomegranate Juice: is very high in antioxidants, nutrients, vitamin A, C, and E. It helps keep the skin healthy and youthful fighting off signs of aging. Pomegranate contains three times more antioxidants than blueberries and green tea. Drinking pomegranate juice is a great way to benefit your skin and hair.   
Blueberries: are small in size but rich antioxidants, minerals, vitamins C, E, K, B6 and nutrients. Eating blueberries not only maintains your health but, it does amazing things for your skin. Antioxidants help prevent signs of aging to help your skin look youthful and fresh. It is also known to help prevent acne. Blueberries have high levels of antioxidants.
Green Tea: is rich in antioxidants and vitamins E and C. Drinking green tea is a great way to naturally rejuvenate the skin to fight signs of aging. Green tea is known to help prevent hair loss and nourish the scalp preventing dryness, irritation and dandruff. Green tea is a natural way to help improve the health of you skin and hair.
Yogurt: is enriched with calcium, zinc, protein, vitamins B1, B-2, B-6, and B-12. Eating yogurt can improve your skin's texture leaving it with a healthy glow. Yogurt is being put in more skin and hair products today because it provides a lot of nourishment.
Water: pure H20 keeps the body hydrated. Water is the healthiest liquid that you can drink. Drinking a lot of water can help you maintain healthy, clear youthful skin.

Carrots: are loaded with nutrition, calcium, minerals and rich in vitamins A, B, C, D and E. You can eat carrots or drink it. Carrot juice is rich in antioxidants and vitamins that help nourish the skin. Drinking raw carrot juice can help promote healthy hair growth.
Coconut: is full of nutrition in many ways and rich in vitamins, minerals, fiber, and antioxidants. Coconut is very useful you can eat it, drink coconut water and milk, or use coconut oil it’s so healthy for you. When it comes to skin and hair it does an amazing job. It is a great moisturizer for the skin making it soft and smooth also, coconut heals dry damaged hair and promotes healthy growth. Eating coconut can improve your health and your skin. SO EAT UP!!!    
There are so many more natural foods that are great for your skin and hair but, I can’t name them all there’s just too many. So just remember being beautiful on the outside helps first by being beautiful on the inside, so try to eat healthy. I promise it will benefit you in many ways.
